I think you will really enjoy the big bore AR. I shoot a 458 and it is one of my go to fun guns. Make sure you have a high quality stock and that it not a COLLAPSE O MATIC. I use a Mako. GL and really tames the recoil.

Regarding crick /creek I'm from Northwest rural Iowa originally. If referring to just a body of water Crick is more comon. Up the crick, cross the crick. If a name for it is used. Willow Creek.
