Re: Efiled for SBR today.
Yes... The Federal Government is SO good at designing websites that function flawlessly. I'm guessing the company that designed the ATF forms also has the contract to maintain them... so why build something easy and efficient to use and write yourself out of a lot of future income? ...not laughing.....

Re: 300 Suppressor Handguard - 2 Piece
How heavy are they?
I like the big diameter, yet CLEAN simple look. I'd actually like a LONG one 15-16" for my 18" 3-Gun AR.
There are lots of 15" rails on the market (Midwest Industries, etc) but having a custom would be nice.

Re: How to check on form 1 & 4 submission statis?
The Form 1 is taking about 1 month currently. If you go to SilencerShop (http://www.silencershop.com/support/atf-wait-times/) they have a Form 3 and Form 4 Tracking page that tells you what the file dates for the stamps they are getting back this week are... So you can see pretty accurately when you...

Re: Gonna do a post apocalypse challenge on my .300BLK...
This is why I have 5.56 AND 300BLK SBR uppers...
And a M&P 40 with a 9mm conversion barrel...
As much as I love my 300BLK (eventually for suppressed work)... I will have a 5.56 upper always.

Re: Optimal Twist Rate for Suppressed 22LR?
Obviously sub-sonic 22 will be the quietest of quiet... and that's typically the heavier ammo? I've never bought 22 with a can in mind. Either way, even the higher velocity stuff (supersonic) will be pretty quiet I would think. I've got thousands of rounds of 22LR in my collection, that I don't shoo...

Optimal Twist Rate for Suppressed 22LR?
The standard twist rate on my Ruger 10/22 is 1:16. Most 22LR ammo is optimized for that twist. Faster twist rates are available for the 10/22, like 1:9, but 1:9 can tear apart standard 22LR light bullet/high velocity ammo. Should I just stay with a 1:16, because it will shoot everything from sub-son...

Re: Under an inch at 100 yds
All three of my AR lowers have JP Reduced weight trigger/hammer spring in them. I've shot a number of guns with $150-200 drop-ins that aren't any better. The trigger in my 308 bolt gun is shorter in travel, but once you learn the dynamics of YOUR trigger, sub-MOA groups are pretty attainable with a ...
