Re: Whats the cheapest can?
To answer your question about cheapest can...I am thinking outside the box here but if you are ever in New Zealand for a holiday you might want to check out the suppressors while you are there. With no paperwork or export permits required, and considering the favourable exchange rate you can pick up...

Re: Whats the cheapest can?
Hopefully it will never happen but if it does then it will be a close-range confrontation so I am thinking the louder the better.
If it really is an issue for that one time in your life then how about a set of ear muffs next to the gun?

Re: Gas system length
I would think the pistol length gas system might be better on a 16" if all you shot were subs. If you shoot supers carbine length is perfectly fine for function in fact my 16" is carbine length and it works fine with supers and subs and it does function subs unsuppressed. I agree...that i...

Re: Inconsistent case length after sizing.
I don't want to have to check each cases length after they are done, that would take forever. I do...it's peace of mind for something that could result in dangerous overpressure. A case too long and it risks being compressed in the throat. I also check again every time they are fired to identify if...

Re: I don't care for my URX iii...
Most people love the smooth sides and will never mount more than a flashlight on the side, which you can do with the URX-III. 'Most people', implies more than half...probably fairer to say 'Some people', which could be any percentage. Unless of course you have hard stats to back the claim. http://w...

Daniel Defense 7" Lite rail. You want something rock solid that gives you the option of going forward a couple of notches on the top rail, if you need to. I'm talking about Just past the join where the upper ends and the rail starts, maybe straddling with a sight mount or an aiming laser. I am ...

Re: ATF just made me commit a federal felony!
So what are you saying?... for the 20 seconds you've slipped the butt on to take a measurement, the authorities come through the window, guns drawn. Some slip on the paperwork you are filling out, while others trip on the extended tape measure....giving you time to 'melt away, into the shadows'.

Re: 300blk with 110gr V-max vs wolves
If retained weight and penetration is what you want then the VMax is for you. It doesn't expand and explode like it's designed due to the slower speeds of the Blackout. I have read that Hornady designed the round to fragment at speeds above 2,000fps and that matches my experience shooting kangaroos ...
