WTS CVA Scout 300blk unfired $350

I have a 300blk CVA scout pistol that won't work with my silencer. The barrel doesn't jive with the QD mount for the AAC 7.62SD. Instead of getting the barrel turned down or having a custom adapter made, I'll just let the gun go. It's never had a round fired through it. $350 shipped to your FFL whic...

Question about CVA Scout with AAC 7.62sd

I just got the CVA pistol. When I screwed an AAC adapter on for the QD can, it only catches about a quarter of an inch of threads before the shroud at the back of the adapter hit the shoulder on the barrel. Is this OK or do I need to get the barrel turned down a bit? Any body else running this can o...

Re: Questions about loading palmetto projectiles

Thanks for the replies. I'll order an expander. Once that shows up I'll press a couple together and then pull them to see if the mild crimp pulls the coating off.

Questions about loading palmetto projectiles

I got the sample pack to try out. They seem promising, but I have a couple of questions before I jump into live loads. I noticed that when I put them in I shaved a little off the side like sometimes happens with uncoated cast bullets. When I pulled it back apart it had a patch of bare lead. I tried ...

Re: Hornaday short jacket 100 grain bullet

I have 4 box's of them, I bought them because they were cheap and on sale. They ended up being the worst bullet I have ever tried in my 300blk's. They didn't group, but patterned like a shotgun, LOL 8" groups at 40 yards. That could be just my rifles, but it was two different platforms, my AR ...

Re: Remington green box "subsonics" that aren't subsonic

I'm pulling that factory crap apart and working up a load before I get to enjoy the brand new Remington suppressed rifle. I should have spent that couple thousand dollars on hookers and booze. I have pulled & documented the UMC subs. You'll need 9.5 - 10.0 grains to make that round actually sub...

Hornaday short jacket 100 grain bullet

The Hornaday 3005 bullet that has a jacket on the bottom half and exposed lead from there up is really popular with m1 carbine shooters because it's cheap and doesn't lead up the gas port. I'm thinking it may be a good light subsonic candidate. My question is will the exposed lead on the front half ...
