Re: Ferfrans CRD muzzle brake system
In terms of the things you want a linear comp to do, the CRD will be bigger and less effective. Not necessarily. The deflector is great if you want to redirect the concussion ahead of the shooter. This is great for cqb purposes (but for most of us its great when shooting next to other shooters). It...

Re: Ferfrans CRD muzzle brake system
Thanks. I already purchased this system and I LOVE it. Bought it here from fortress tactical http://shop.fortresstactical.com/Ferfrans-CRD-Concussion-Reduction-Device-7-62-p/ffcrd-762.htm. Always the best price. Also bought my AAC pistol at an unbelievable price, previously. Mike is an excellent guy...

Re: Effective muzzle device for short barrel on 5.56 upper?
I just very recently bought the Ferfrans CRD muzzle brake/deflector system for my AAC 9" 300blk. The brake is very effective, but the deflector that works with it is amazing. Everything is pushed to the front of the shooter. There are a few very good demonstrations on YouTube videos. On the oth...

Re: surefire high cap mags
My 40 round pmags won't even work with 300blk. Won't feed the first round when full. The springs were designed to carry the much lighter 223/556 rounds. So e of these blk bullets are 4 times heavier. I'd like to have a super high cap mag for, "just in case", but won't bother for the the 30...

Re: How do you successfully remove the muzzle brake?
I don't know what they put these thinngs on with but I'm having a heck of a time getting off!. I bought a SpecWar 7.62 and the mount requires their muzzle brake but I'll be damned if I can get the original one off. Suggestions/ideas/helpful hints PLEASE!!! Which muzzle brake? It's probably on there...

Re: muzzle device for a 300 pistol upper...what's everyone l
I've been investigating this, because like you, my go to home defense firearm is a 300blk pistol (and where I am, no cans allowed. http://youtu.be/O8-ju332HAA This really seems to deflect the concussion and noise forward. I was really impressed by the few testing videos out there. The dealer I bough...
