Re: Off the shelf blackout pistol advice
Thanks for all the advice. Sounds like AAC is the safest bet. The uppers seem readily available but I'm having a hard time finding the complete pistol - which would be my preference. I bought mine from fortress tactical. It was my first "online" purchase. Mike held my hand through the ent...

Re: Off the shelf blackout pistol advice
I went with the company who had the most experience with the cartridge, AAC. I bough the complete pistol. And guess what, it works. 100% of the time. Having said that, you can't go wrong with Noveske. They make a great product, have outstanding QC and it will retain its value. You can reasonably exp...

Re: Build or Buy??
I have two 300blk ARs. One is a 16" AAC upper and I built the lower and the other is an 8.2" Noveske upper and I built the lower (SBR). They were close enough to what I wanted for the upper if I built them myself. Both shoot great, though I admit I use the SBR Noveske most of the time. Th...

Re: Build or Buy??
I went ahead and bought a complete upper (9" AAC) because most problems you hear about are related to the upper. Gas port location, size, block...ect. This upper has run EVERYTHING ive out thru it My only regret is the included foreend is not the one i would have chosen. It works fine but i ha...

Re: Rant-People Advertising AAC 300 BO Uppers For Sale/Not A
I kinda agree with the OP. When I'm shopping for something specific in 300blk and I see AAC, I expect it to be from Advanced Armament.
And by the way, my AAC 9" 300blk pistol IS made by advanced armament and fires the AAC 300blk round which was developed by Advanced Armament

Outstanding list of premium, highest quality parts. I would've chosen a different handguard, but that's just me. Good luck with it.

Re: Ferfrans CRD muzzle brake system
Still, keep in mind- this is no suppressor. In fact, its loud as hell. Much louder than the standard AAC flash hider. That's exactly the opposite of what you want a linear comp to do. Exactly what do you expect a linear comp to do? This directs the blast/sound away from the shooter. It keeps the mu...
