Re: ATN X-sight optics
With the sub-moa loads I worked up I should be able to put this thru some good testing. The 168"s are really shooting good! the 64gb card will be here Saturday and I can load up the firm wear and put in some ballistic data.

Re: Anyone tune barrel nut torque
Working with barrel nut torque and fine tuning the loads with 168 grain Nosler Custom Competition bullets. I settled on 35LB barrel nut torque and it seems to have settled down the wide flyers. A switch from W296 to IMR4227 really made this 300 BlackOut shoot better. This is a 100 yard 4 round group...

Re: Anyone tune barrel nut torque
Progress with barrel nut torque is going good. I switched to IMR4227 as the W296 was just not consistent with smaller groups. I am still set on getting the 168 grain Nosler custom comp. bullets to group into a small hole. At 35 LB of barrel nut torque I was able to put three rounds into a 1/2"g...

Re: Anyone tune barrel nut torque
American Gunsmith, Oct. 2016 page 14. Joe Carlos " AR15 Barrel Harmonics". It's a good read I used his method and eliminated the stray flyers. Groups now in a small cluster so I will tweek powder charge to tighten up, if I can get five shot 1/2" groups at 100 yards with 168 grain Nosl...
