Re: When will we get info on the honey badger?

They still need to solve the anti-bounce problem. Seems they are running through recoil springs at an alarming rate currently.

Re: WOW OVERGASSED!!

I've been told removing a coil or two of the ejector spring may help but I haven't tried it yet. Never remove coils from springs. That is total hicksville engineering. It raises the spring stress. Dented cases is not something that needs fixing. +1. It constantly amazed me the things people find to...

Re: Case cleaning question

Media wears out after a while. If you are having troubles try new media.

By far the best solution is stainless steel media but it requires a rotary tumbler.

Re: noise level comparison

With a conical muzzle device like the KX3 I have shot a 10" 300 using subsonics without hearing protection. This is not technically hearing safe but it can be done fairly comfortably. Something that cannot be said for a short barreled 223.

Re: Should subsonic rounds lock the bolt back?

While the 200 Lapuas do load a bit short in an AR they seem to cycle reliably in the ARs I have run them in. The trick is to not get hung up on one specific parameter. The end result is what matters most. Who cares if they have a shorter OAL compared to most other bullets if they cycle reliably. My ...

The other two powders worth trying would be 4227 and Lil Gun.

Re: Interesting day at the range... Several 300 BLK rifles t

I have never run into another 300 at the range but I never fail to get a lot of attention when shooting mine especially with subsonics.

I am actually considering selling my 223 AR now.

Re: 300 Blackout interest and factory support outside the US

Once fired brass isn't that cheap in Canada. Like I mentioned, we don't have access to military surplus brass here so finding once-fired commercial brass that cheap isn't likely. I'm not sure what you consider inexpensive bulk brass but I'd call up JR at TSE and see if he would make you a deal if y...

Re: 1/2 - 28 Barrel Threading

The potential danger of threading a 30 cal bbl to 1/2x28 is that the thickness of metal between the bottom of the threads and the bore is only about .070" which isn't a lot.
