Re: Ruger American Ranch Rifle 300 blackout

No, there isn't a lot of room for holdovers. No scope does. Get used to turning that elevation dial. Wow, really? Not enough room for holdovers with a TMCQ reticle? If you're talking about the size or quantity of the hashmarks, a little practice and memorization (or cheat sheets) fixes that If you'...

Thanks for the results, keep us posted on your adventures with customer service.

I guess I'll see how my lot shoots and if I experience any blown primers I'll have to dismantle and reload them like you did.

Good luck.

Re: Fiocchi 150 grn 300BLKC Issues? What is wrong with this pic

Update: I loaded 15 of the dissembled Fiocchi cases with 296 powder and 125 SST bullets and fired them off without any feeding issues and no blown primers. Re: Ruger American Ranch Rifle 300 blackout

Thanks for the report, Ted. I was feeling a little crafty today, decided to hit the crafting bench with the Ranch, experimenting with a couple of home grown sling designs and made a pretty useful mini hunting chest rig. I've always wanted a Hill People Gear kit bag but I'm too cheap so I decided to ...

Re: Stupid cats

If you have feral problems you can use the Sierra Club cure. Good old Tylenol will put a cat to sleep with little suffering. They just don't seem to wake up. It has been used to control populations in many areas. I have tried this, maybe the ferals in my area are too smart for it. I mixed up a hand...

Re: Ruger American Ranch Rifle 300 blackout

Yes the magazine can be a little tedious to load (typical of almost all DBM bolt action magazines). I plan to buy a couple extra as spares and to minimize the time it takes to reload at the range. I really love this gun... still stumped trying to find the perfect optic, but I'm getting closer... hop...
