Great looking build, perfect scope mounting arrangement too... Nice.

Re: Ruger American Ranch Rifle 300 blackout
not much activity here. any better places? facebook? got my ruger 2 months ago and never fired it. i'm still looking for a scope. would like a compact one that fits the style. This is the most active forum I've found for these rifles. Lots of options for compact optics, in fact I have reviewed four...

Big ongoing thread for these rifles, here: http://www.300blktalk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=137&t=91193 Several of us have posted useful information in there you might find handy. If you don't reload, most have found the Gemtech subs to be inconsistent accuracy-wise and borderline supersonic from...

Re: Ruger American Ranch Rifle 300 blackout
One of my few gripes about my Ranch was the trigger... even with the set screw fully removed, it still felt notably heavier than other 3-3.5lb triggers. I don't have a triger gauge to test the actual pull weight, but according to my fingertip scale I'd say it would not adjust any lower than 4lbs, so...

Re: Barnes Rebate
Same, I got the 110gr. on sale for $24.95/box and then mailed in for the free boxes. I had my free ammo in the mail in two weeks. The rebate, combined with the sale price, made the Barnes 110gr. Black Tips .83¢ per round... I definitely could not load it for less than that, and now I have a virtuall...

Re: Ruger American Ranch Rifle 300 blackout
Curious why you don't like the pad... Its tackiness helps a lot in unusual situations. Plus LOP is pretty short already, is a shorter stock needed for you? CW I absolutely loathe sticky rubber recoil pads... The tackiness hinders much more than it ever helps. The LOP after removal is still adequate...
