Re: Best buffer for AAC 9"
So I'm finishing up my 300 BLK build and needed some help on what buffer to use. My AAC 762SDN-6 is still several month down the road. So I need a buffer that going to function well with supersonic rounds. I am running the AAC 9" blackout barrel. Also I planned on loading up some 110gr.-125gr....

Re: Muzzle brake or flash hider for 8" Build?
You will always have erosion, and a muzzle brake or BreakOut will reduce it. That being said, I would use a flash suppressor. Way less loud without a can, and kills flash. What Robert said. if you are not doing full auto, the can will last a long long time with 300 BLK. The 762-SDN-6 will be more d...

Re: New guy with a new rifle. 16" 300 BLK AR, pics inside.
Both were quiet enough that I fired a couple without hearing protection, I would say they were equivalent to a .22 magnum rifle. I can't wait to get that AAC suppressor and see how quiet it is then! Gun looks good! but please don't do this anymore, as i want you to still be able to hear how quiet i...

Re: 16" 300 Blackout, worth it?
There is places for all, I just think that an advantage for closer situations with the 300 Blackout, mid range with the 5.56 (jack of all trades, master of none), and longer with the 7.62 NATO, not extended distance for the .338 Lapua or 50 BMG, etc. Tom yes! (with overlap at every edge) It's cool,...

Re: 16" 300 Blackout, worth it?
If it wasn't for the newer soft shooting 7.62 NATO ARs on the market now, I'd say yes. The felt recoil difference of what's out now verses just a couple years ago is amazing. If you are talking about a 16" supersonic only, it's hard to beat some of the new 7.62 NATO rifles out now. I really th...

Re: Is 300BLK worth it in supersonic unsuppressed ONLY appl.
In terms of ballistics and terminal performance, supersonic is where 300 BLK really shines, especially in SBRs, and especially compared to 5.56 for short to mid-range use. This is the main 'purpose' of the round. a mid range, full power, 30 cal round that functions well in ARs with minimal (only the...
