I was able to get out to the closest Cabellas today and all they had for subsonics are more of the green box stuff I already have. plenty of 110 and 150 grain stuff from various manufacturers but nothing in a sub. I knew I'd be hand loading when I got this rifle, but I had hoped to at least be able...

There is a picture of the gun in the article, and of the girl. I'll go out on a limb and say she could have carried something much more effective than she had. She could have packed a Bren Ten.

I finally got my 7.62SD transferred. I put the flash hider/mount on my Model 7 300AAC and took a green box of 220 grain ammo to the range. Each and every damn round cracked loud. There is a word for a gun that can fire when dropped. It's a "curio" or maybe even a "relic" and they are not what you carry.

The title sums it up. I have lusted after a model 7 for years. When the 300 blk was released all I heard was all about FTF and FTE. Did they get their act together and put out a product worth the price tag yet?

Remington's backing the 300BLK means it has a shot at being available at Walmart. I don't know who makes the ammo selection @ Wallyworld or how they do it, but it's conceivable that they get a selection based on a wholesaler's 'package deal'.
