Re: Super Bowl Half Time...ugh show?

The Super Bowl has been turned into a circus. Not really very interesting anymore unless your team is in it.

Re: Form 4 on Silencer Rejected Not in Stock

So I went down to my local gun shop and they had a Silencer Co Omega in stock. I bought it filled out the paperwork, and BAM get a check in the mail from the NFA saying the application was being rejected because the suppresser wasn't in stock. Again, I put my hands on it, have y'all heard of anythi...

Re: aac mpw 16 advice

Local gunshop has AAC 16 MPW with the 13.5 knights rail on it. Haven't seen any of the 9 or 12 " around lately. I already have a AAC sdn6 that I use on 5.56 at and my 7.62x51 carbine. Thinking of picking it up for hunting and plinking. Any common issues with that rifle that should be of concer...

Re: 300 BO short barrel on a approved (with stamp) 5.56 lower

Also, for your information, a nonlicensee may manufacture a semiautomatic rifle for his or her own personal use. As long as the firearm remains in the custody of the person who manufactured it, the firearm need not be marked with a serial number or name and location of the manufacturer. However, if...

Re: 300 BO short barrel on a approved (with stamp) 5.56 lower

I wonder if a letter to the ATF would clarify whether "multi" satisfies the caliber requirement for an individual that is not a manufacturer. Multi is not a caliber and it does not satisfy the caliber requirement, whether licensee or non-licensee. I suspect the marking requirements are di...

Re: 300 BO short barrel on a approved (with stamp) 5.56 lower

A Homemade firearm does not need to be marked, even if you later decide to sell it.

SNs were not required on Title I till 1968, so there are a whole bunch of them out there. 4473 has instructions on how to xfer a firearm with NSN. No big deal.

Multi has no legal meaning and is basically irrelevant engraving.

As long as BBL is engraved, you are GTG.

There is no legal requirement to mark caliber anywhere on the gun.
Wrong, whatever that jibberish was. CFR is clear on what markings need to be on a SBR. Prior responses were correct.
