Well crap....

I had really high hopes that my 300 Blk pistol would be a perfect cast bullet platform. I was wrong....really really wrong. I have yet to find a cast bullet that will give groups vs patterns. I've tried several different bullets, several powders. I'm an experienced bullet caster with success in othe...

You are correct. I was thinking of the RT1200.

Re: Dillon 550/650/750 owners help me out

Be advised that Dillon has stated that the RT1500 is a case TRIMMER, not to be used to cut down 223 to 300 Blackout.

I use a HF chop saw and a jig to cut the brass down. A Giraud Tri-Way will do the rest.

When LOADING on a progressive it's best to have all stations filled and working. They are designed to run that way.

I too do a dual sizing.

Re: Bear Creek Arms upper

I have a 10.5" 300 Blk upper from Bear Creek. I have no complaints about it at all.

Re: Dillon 550/650/750 owners help me out

You are correct. A tool head for processing and a tool head for loading. That being said...I do all my processing off the press. I'm retired and have lots of time. Right now I'm in the process of making 1500 pieces of 300 brass. 1. I sorted the brass to get the bad ones out. 2. I chopped their necks...

Re: Sizing problems 300BLK

Hornady One Shot is a great pistol brass lube. It sucks for anything else.

I use a mix of ISO HEET and lanolin.

Case for pistol

I've got a sweet little pistol build. I'd like a decent cast for it that's not going to break the bank. Any suggestions?

Re: Linear Compensator

I have a small inexpensive one from eBay. It makes a difference. Since my 300 is a 8" pistol I didn't want a big comp hanging off the end.

I have a Pig clone on my Ruger PCC. It makes a huge difference, I think it's 50% due to the weight.

Super sonic heavies...

Since I don't have a can yet I've been thinking of loading some heavy supers.

I have the MP 235 gr HP mold and that's the bullet I use.

Anyone else loading this combo?
