Velocity and bullet expansion is king. Do your research to find what you can be happy with. Me, I stay with 110 grain bullets. Your wallet will dictate.

Until I see at least a gel test, I will stick to Barnes 110 Tac Tx. The sig 120 looks like a good round though. Haven’t tried it though.
I managed to break another bullet last weekend :oops: I think it was operator error, but until I can repeat it, I won’t know for sure. I just know that when you eject a round in a bolt action, pieces parts of the last round fired aren’t supposed to fall out on the bench. http://i1044.photobucket.co...
That crater ring on the primer indicates over pressure. Every barrel is unique. If commercial ammo, stop shooting it. If reloaded ammo, back off on the powder. As posted above, could be your gas port.
