Re: Perfect 300 BO Cast Boolit

There are already plenty of good subsonic designs. The sweet spot for a new supersonic design would be 160-170 grains, it seems to be the most effective with the more energy output. And it could possibly be used for major factor in practical shooting. There are no really good design in that range f...

Re: Perfect 300 BO Cast Boolit

What I would like would be a bullet which comes out to ~120 grains in linotype or similar alloy. It should be for powder coat. Flat base and have a long secant nose profile similar to something like the barns SST with the last milimeter clipped off the point. It should have as much bearing surface a...

Hey. You are pretty entertaining as a video maker thing. I don't know why that surprises me, but I suppose I just expect cool guys on forums to be bumbly mumbly out of focus on youtube. At least that is what I fit in with. As for youtube comments... People are more strongly motivated by negative emo...

He was always arrogant, but sometimes had a useful perspective if you had the patience. I like that he managed to get a lot of people doing run and gun stuff, and that he kinda helped to standardize language for a few concepts. i.e. Categorizing purposes of gear, empahasizing weight and durability, ...

Re: New Shotgun-Door Breaching Prop

Neat. You should staple cardboard over the stick though so that the shooter has to pay attention to aim.

Also I second the no metal, keep it wood thing. I would put metal tube instead of pipe. Then the breach drill can also be with a sledge or ram, and you have more stage options.

Re: Powder coat vs lube

p.s. I used to use the 45/45/10 method which is basically improved Alox tumbling, and it worked well for me. There was a very marginal time advantage, so for a while I used both it and PC. Then I just quit using anything other than PC. It is clean and encapsulated, and cheap. Leading is almost impos...
