Re: Home Defense Sub-Sonic Ammo

Go your own way brother. Sub 300 may stop a threat or maybe he has to to bleed out. Depends on your aim, middle of the night, sleepy eyed and buck naked. Robert tends to hate me saying this but # 4 buck in a properly choked shotgun will put them down every time. Get the mop out , it's gonna be mess...

Be very careful here, the suppressor will not help with bullet stabilization. If it's tumbling early you could very well ruin your can.

My sb dies have made some killer ammo. I've never used anything but and miraculously never once reformed any brass to date.

...Makers with their tougher petals or maybe the fracturing variety Thanks. I didn't know of them as a source. They don't provide recommended loading info on their website...something to track down. This site probably is the largest single point for maker bullet data. Paul, the owner and also a mem...

Good to see you back around these parts. That gun is on my short list but I can't figure out how to keep that list actually short, my gun budget for the year is already shot.

Re: Ws2 bullet coating question.

Drop 4 deer DRT with 110gr Barnes averaging 150yrds but one which was about 25 feet away. I just want to make sure my use of the word average is the same as yours. When you say 4 averaging 150 yards with one at 25', does that mean 3 were at 200yds? Or that the three averaged 150yds? Just want clari...

Re: Which Gives Greater Accuracy

No science here and not speaking for anyone else but I tend to be more accurate prone off a bipod than off of bags. Being able to load the bipod, where as I can't load a bag, is what helps me. At least I think.

Edit to add the use of a rear bag as well.

Re: Good deer killer

Nice kill WF. I've never hunted with it but the tnt has always been one of my favorite bullets. I keep a couple 50cal cans full of them as my "do it all" round.
