Brass ; Lapua - trimmed to 1.3560" / Flash hole drilled out to 7/64" (0.109")
I'll never claim to have seen it all but I've never seen or known anyone to drill out a flash hole in blackout brass, or any brass for that matter.

Did you clean and deburr the inside after drilling?

Re: Recipe for Speer 125gr TNT

Guess no one else likes that bullet around here? I just ordered 2000 more for 13.5 cents each delivered. It’s my preference for a couple of different calibers. I've probably loaded 5 times as many tnts for my blackouts as any other bullet most likely. I found my load with h110 in the same range you...

Re: Chronographs

I could have got you a labradar cheap a few months ago! A guy at my range had one, he hated it. He screwed with that thing for an hour every time he brought it. I tried to help him with it once, and he offered to sell it to me for half its cost. I set up my $80 pro chrono, fired my ladder and was d...

Re: Chronographs

I transitioned from the magnetospeed to a labradar about 6 months or so ago and have not regretted it in the slightest. Like rebel said, it definitely comes with a little bit of a learning curve and some trail and error but once you're over that hill it's easy as pie to setup and run. I set it up pr...

Re: Salt bath annealing....

It's really hard to consider the study unbiased given the source, you know, having a dog in the fight and all.

But I believe I will stick to my flame annealing, mostly just because I'm a pyro at heart.

Re: Neck size bushing

.308" + .011"(2) = .330"

Depending on your brass you're sitting right there at that .003" neck tension mark a lot of people shoot for. I personally don't use bushing dies on my blackout ammo but trying a .328 bushing won't hurt anything to try.

Looks like the log in issue is squared away, at least for me.

Thanks to those responsible!

*edit to add that I had no issues with posting either.

Re: Whats your accent?

This coastal dialect has always been one of my favorites. When you run into one of em you're sure to know it. As far as where I'm at I guess I'd have to google Ohio or New Jersey accent now adays.
