Re: Deer Season

Hoping to try deer hunting with the black rifle this year. Got some black tips on the way and I have a load worked up using 110 gr Varmageddons and W296. Already killed 1 with my muzzle loader, here's the story: The folks at the vets office call my black lab "Crazy Bob" because he has so much "driv...

Re: Deer Season

Another night on the light here. Very little moon, cool, still and no dust or fog...almost perfect. A small cut down block just off the highway we seen 2 right on 11oclock at 350m up hill but they weren't hanging around. All up we seen 7 in that block. Over the highway we seen 2 between 350 and 450m...

Re: Why 2nd Ammendment is for everyone. (Feel free to plagerize this)

I had the miss fortune of listening to one of your propaganda spewing Hillary supporters on the radio wedensday evening. I didn't catch this guys name but he spewed out removing 2nd amendment rights. The removal of assault weapons and limiting magazines. The best line I thought was where he said you...

Speaking of bullet performance

That's on the far side of a 6 inch neck, it was probably 3 inch thick neck bone it blew straight through.

It retained reasonable weight for a 110gr V max

http://i64.tinypic.com/5jy5u1.jpg The time stamp says it all. Shot this stag on the road, it was the second in less than a mile. I miss fed my gun and got the dreaded CLICK then double fed it. EDIT... It dropped like stone, dead on arrival but i haven't seen a hole in the chest yet, so either my gu...

Re: Deer Season

4 am here and I just got in from a night shoot for reds with my 300. Nothing tonight been on the lights since 10pm seen 1 at 350 meters but couldn't get a clean shot on it so we left it. I did fire 6 rounds at 2 stags last week and through my own stupidity rushing and not judging the range correctly...

Seems like I remember you saying the only permit you need is a greenback or whatever color your folding money comes in.
For a suppressor they considered under law a firearm accessory like a carry sling. With all the restrictions of a pack of chewing gum.

Re: Current HPA status

From an outsiders view and from an already deregulate market. Why would your industry want deregulation...at the moment suppressor are a high end luxury items they achieve top dollar for. They must be making 500-2000% profit on them. As you say there is one manufacture selling at $150, by my math th...

Re: Anyone have experience with CMMG rimfire conversion kits??

Your post tipped me over the edge, like I really need another .22. The info on stainless was helpful as this is what was offered with a 25 rd mag and free shipping for $149.99. I haven't felt like so much of a gun freak since there was a plumber working on our house that said he had 133 guns. Troub...

Re: Anyone have experience with CMMG rimfire conversion kits??

I don't use a piston AR, but I do have a CMMG .22 conversion kit and I love mine! I paid more and got the stainless unit as it cleans easier (I use cheap brake cleaner)! Installation is as easy as removing the bolt group and sliding the conversion in. The magazines seem to be the weak point and I f...
