My daughter in law's parents live in Midland, TX, might be a chance to visit and do some critter damage. Now, if Santa had only complied with m...
djones: Not really hog hunting country up here in MT, but I can see there is certainly a speed/energy/ballistic advantage over the 300BO. I think for most folks, the BLK is a matter of a wide selection of bullet weights and applications. Clearly a more versatile round compared to the Ham'r and 6.8. ...

I have the Lee 115 gr RN mold that we have cast and coated several hundred. Originally used in a single shot, both subsonic and super, they worked out fine. When I bought my RARR and tried these stubby little rounds, they just would kinda feed with some finger help. In the AR pistol, they really wil...

Dellet again brings his experience to the forum. I would add that with that particular bullet/powder combo, a magnum primer should give you better SD. I would try both standard and magnum primers. My drop tube is about 14-16" long, used for this and other applications. The data below is about as far...

One of my favorite calibers, .22-250 has been part of my life since I was 17yrs young. We have taken critters large and small, a friend has taken a cow Elk every year for most of his life. Head shots at ~ 200 yds with 55 gr SP. My current rifle is a R700, 26" Varmint in the HS Precision stock. Have ...
As I read the law language...the only person I need to show my stamp to is the Sheriff of the County, he is the one that signed my paper work. A ATF agent(now retired) seemed to think that was accurate. Maybe not so, but nobody has ever asked me regarding my can. I have been a tremendously successfu...
