Most all of the high end razoo, latest camo pattern stuff is not only stupid expensive but definitely not cotton. It almost all is of some light weight fabric that breathes and empties your wallet
I have the Lee 115 gr RN mold that we have cast and coated several hundred. Originally used in a single shot, both subsonic and super, they worked out fine. When I bought my RARR and tried these stubby little rounds, they just would kinda feed with some finger help. In the AR pistol, they really wil...

I try to have my heavy subs around the 900 fps spot so I'm good at cool temps around the upper 30's. For the most part this has worked out, seldom am I going to be shooting subs at -20*. I do have some loads that are 7-800 fps but those are a bit slower in the 10.5" AR vs the 16" bolt rifle. Here on...
BTW, Merry Christmas to all you all. I am thankful for HIS birth and the reason for the season. Also thankful to the many fine Americans present here and elsewhere that populate forums such as this. My family has been blessed, best to all in the coming New Year
Dellet again brings his experience to the forum. I would add that with that particular bullet/powder combo, a magnum primer should give you better SD. I would try both standard and magnum primers. My drop tube is about 14-16" long, used for this and other applications. The data below is about as far...

One of my favorite calibers, .22-250 has been part of my life since I was 17yrs young. We have taken critters large and small, a friend has taken a cow Elk every year for most of his life. Head shots at ~ 200 yds with 55 gr SP. My current rifle is a R700, 26" Varmint in the HS Precision stock. Have ...
As I read the law language...the only person I need to show my stamp to is the Sheriff of the County, he is the one that signed my paper work. A ATF agent(now retired) seemed to think that was accurate. Maybe not so, but nobody has ever asked me regarding my can. I have been a tremendously successfu...

In a query about this optic, I saw a tracking test video on Utube. I had to leave, didn't watch it or save the link. So far, all I've seen and heard has been positive, makes my wallet vibrate with anticipation

I echo Dellet's above response. I shoot a lot of CFE Pistol powder, very much like AutoComp. Not sure with all my other choices that CFE-P would be a good choice. In for more info, open to reasonable proof of concept
Dellet and I agree, not my favorite powder, but certainly has some properties that make it useful. Plenty of gas, lower pressure, capable across the bullet weight spectrum. It does work for me in the 150gr and up bullet weight and seems happiest when a bit compressed and as much pressure it can must...
