Re: Nosler 110g factory loaded ammo on clearance $14.95/20

Wow great deal, shipping kinda kills it but if you plan on stocking up it's not so bad. Thanks for sharing.

Re: Couple of newbie reloading Qs (trying to avoid rookie mistakes)

For loading at the top end or for maximum consistency, you will want to set your powder dispenser to throw a few tenths of a grain low and invest in a trickler. I have a cheap Lyman powder trickler that I've been using for a couple of years for that specific purpose and it works fine. Otherwise 2/10...

It's a SMK... probably not expanding despite reference to "knockdown power".

Re: Ruger American Ranch Rifle 300 blackout

The RARR in 300BlkOut could be the perfect knock about - 30/30 lever gun replacement. All in you have an accurate rifle, with a bullet proof scope for under $700. I hate the cliche but who could ask for anything more for their pickup truck, utility vehicle or tractor? You're reading my mind... I bo...

Re: Stupid cats

If you have feral problems you can use the Sierra Club cure. Good old Tylenol will put a cat to sleep with little suffering. They just don't seem to wake up. It has been used to control populations in many areas. I have tried this, maybe the ferals in my area are too smart for it. I mixed up a hand...

Re: Ruger American Ranch Rifle 300 blackout

How do those of you with one of these like that stock? I fondled one at Sportsmans warehouse the other day and the stock was the biggest drawback to me. I'm waiting on one to show up at a LGS as they quoted me a price $50 cheaper than Sportsmans. I didn't think I'd like it, and had planned on foami...

Re: First 50 Shots Ruger American Ranch Compact 300 Blackout

Hello, I picked mine up this afternoon from a local Cabelas. Here is a picture of my virgin bolt. http://i141.photobucket.com/albums/r71/1buckeye/IMG_2684.jpg Bill Does your bolt face have a "gouge" in it on the bottom right in that photo, or is it the picture making it look like something's there?...

Re: Bolt vs H&R

I don't have a .300BLK H&R to compare to my Ruger American .300BLK, but for what it's worth I did have an H&R .45-70 Ultra Hunter that was a tack driver compared to my Marlin Guide Gun in the same caliber, with or without handloads. I had a .223 H&R Survivor briefly as well, and it was plenty accura...

So who's inviting me over to whack one of these? No pigs here in AZ to speak of... and javelina smells and tastes like shit so I don't even bother with that.

Re: Fiocchi 150 grn 300BLKC Issues? What is wrong with this pic

I have a picture showing the ring on page 2 of this thread. Not the clearest, but the best I could do with my iPhone. Oh I see it now, thank you. My work PC must've been blocking the pictures when I read through this thread earlier in the week. My lot numbers are in the 904xxxxxxxx range so I'm hop...
