Re: JP captured spring feedback

Just got my can and I am looking to try one of these for maximum sound reduction on my AAC MPW 9-inch Pistol. Seems pretty pricey but I'll give it a try. When I spoke to them about my use, they said I should get the AR-15 heavier tungsten buffer. I don't recall picking up on this in the thread. Any...

Re: Eform .. mind blown.. first post updates again$$$

I submitted Form 1 for SBR on 9/4, called Monday to question the status...apparently there is an error bc I used the dropdown box with "300 AAC Blackout" that THEY listed....anyway, I'll resubmit after getting the refund and hopefully get put back in the correct place in line. I do feel that it sho...

Re: Misery loves company... What NFA stuff awaits you?

I submitted an e-form 1 trust on September 3rd for my SBR and still waiting on that. I was getting hopeful I would get one of those 3-4 week total turnarounds but that has not happened for me. Also waiting on Form 4 for Silencerco Saker 7.62. That one I imagine will be a long time coming but hopefu...

Re: laser engraving touch up gone wrong

Does anyone see a reason I can't leave the original etching on so I don't have to get this receiver refinished? I talked to Ident about this extensively and they insist that they have many times done secondary engravings on firearms, including NFA restricted items... even for the ATF themselves when...

Re: laser engraving touch up gone wrong

Ident's engraving looks very, very good. How's you darken the new engraving? Ident did a great job. I called them several times before sending the piece off to them and they were always courteous in answering my questions. When I got it back it had what I took to be lubricant all over the area wher...

Re: laser engraving touch up gone wrong

OK, time to come nearly full circle on this. I just got the piece back from Ident in TX and you can see from the photo below that they did a good job. Ident insists that there is zero problem in having the firearm marked in multiple locations as long as the info matches, but I am investigating with ...
