Re: AAC 9" upper - new generation coming soon?

I can't answer your question, but I do have to add that I really don't like the KAC rail on mine, its too bulky and heavy. Wish at the very least they would redesign it so you can remove the rail with standard Ar15 tools. The upper has alot going for it tho, the Nickle boron bcg, the melonite barre...

AAC 9" upper - new generation coming soon?

Hey guys, long time since I checked in, howzitgoin? So, I am thinking of building a second 300 BLK SBR and want to go with another 9" AAC Upper as I have been nothing but impressed with the one I have. However, it seems that stock on them is pretty tight with even AAC's own website indicating that t...

http://www.pagefamily.net/temp/IMG_4242.JPG Hey buddy, just want to say that I REALLY like that SBR setup you're running. VERY slick rifle. Details on the build please!! James Thanks! Lots of dollars and tears shed over that one. It's an AAC 9" complete upper mated to a Mega Arms billet lower. I do...

Re: Christmas time in February

Well, the way I look at it powder doesn't go bad till a couple of years after you open it (and that's worst case scenario). if you don't open it then it should be good for 20-30 years minimum. It doesn't go bad even if opened, as long as you store it inside in a climate controlled environment. I ju...

Re: Christmas time in February

Well, no wins on the powerball so I guess the magical spell has worn off!

I am going to drive across town to Cabelas and buy more Accurate 1680 if they haven't run out! :)

Christmas time in February

So I think it's Christmas time in February somehow. I guess Santa Claus felt sorry for me as with a new little one who arrived last summer we had a pretty low key Christmas. Yesterday I got a call from my local Class-III FFL that they had the tax stamp back on my 7.62 Saker in only 4.5 months!! 8) :...

Re: Couple of newbie reloading Qs (trying to avoid rookie mistakes)

Thanks again to everyone for all of the great information and advice. I did get a chance to go out to the range this weekend and burn the 80 or so rounds I had hand loaded. All rounds went bang with no problems or malfunctions!  I observe that at the limited 50 yards I was shooting at (fo...
