Is the AAC pistol the same as the SBR other than furniture?

Thanks very much for the response! I have a 5.56 that I might be able to adapt to take the same suppressor that I ended up using on the 300 rifle ... and with the longer barrel it's a bit better suited for varmint hunting especially with ammo costs being what they are. So, leaning towards the 9"...
