Re: 300 BLK & The Great Accuracy Lie
I agree that if a good reloader took the time and effort that they put into their 308 match ammo, or 6BR match ammo, with factory produced matched cases, carefully weighed charges, and high quality bullets... that sub-MOA would be expected. Now move those reloads over to a 20" bolt gun, with a top n...

This is why I never mess with the reciprocating parts in an AR... standard BCG, standard carbine buffer, standard spring...

Re: 147 gr. M80 pull handloads
I've loaded them up with a "rough" ladder for accuracy and 4227. I've gotten 2.0" out of them at 100 from my 8.25" 300BLK. The same barrel shoots 125gr SMK to about 1.25" at 100.
I use the 147s mostly for USCA matches with shots inside 50 yards. Great low-buck plinkers.

Re: 200 dollar limit
I'm going with the Vortex Viper PST on my precision rifle build. Vortex builds great scopes at every price point, and their warranty/CS can't be beat from what I understand.

Re: Speer Hot-Cor Bullets 30 Caliber 130 Grain Flat Nose ???
Anyone load these bullets? Look promising as a hunting bullet at super sonic. Wonder if they would expland at subsonic velocities? Might have to get some. http://www.midwayusa.com/product/311507/speer-hot-cor-bullets-30-caliber-308-diameter-130-grain-flat-nose-box-of-100?cm_vc=ProductFinding It loo...

Re: Omega Testing. What do you all want?
My understanding is it will have the option of a flat end-cap, to replace the "Harvester" brake.
If you have one, how short does it make it? How does it effect suppression?
I'm guessing close to an inch shorter, and no change for the 300BLK.

Re: Omega Testing. What do you all want?
I would be interested in seeing how it compares to a Specwar 7.62 on a 300 win mag or large caliber bolt rifle. Recoil, reduction and POI shift. SiCo told me its not rated for 300WM. This is why I got a SpecWar, thinking on picking up a Omega for 308's and smaller ar's... SilencerCo's own website r...

Re: Barnes 110gr TTSX
That should work fine. Here is how I determine COL for the AR, I take a piece of spent 556 brass and stick your chosen 30 cal bullet nose first into the brass and rotate the brass to make a mark(ring) around the bullet. I then seat the bullet into the 300blk case where that "ring" is where the bull...
