Re: Under-rail Suppressor Issue...
I am hesitant to put Loctite on the mount because I would like to be able to switch to a half inch 5.56 host on a regular basis.

Under-rail Suppressor Issue...
I just got in my SilencerCo Omega suppressor. I'm running it direct-thread under a rail to kee the rail as long as possible, and the gun as short as possible. When I'm removing the can, the direct thread mount is staying attached to the barrel, and the can is threading OFF the mount. This requires r...

Re: Hog hunting bullet
Barnes 110 TAC-TX. Still expands down to 1450FPS, expands reliably, and accurate enough. I shoot mine through my suppressed 300BLK w/ an 8" barrel. They are "reasonably" hearing safe through my Omega so hunting without muffs is a GO. They crank out at 2100FPS + even at only 8", loaded with H110. JW

Re: 150 Xtreme AR Success!
I just thought I would update this a bit. Because I was so close to getting the bolt to lock back I made a couple of these bullets with 8.2 gr of Lil'Gun and I was still right around 1000 fps but it apparently was just enough to because it fed all three rounds I tested AND locked back on the last r...

Re: Leave it on, or Take it Off?
I clean my ARs about every 500-750 rounds. All that's needed. I understand subs run dirtier, depending on the powder, but that typically effects the BCG and upper, not the barrel. I don't plan on running a bore snake through the can, as that will surely leave excess residue inside the can. I'm a LOT...

Powder Score!
I shot a charity pistol match last weekend (USPSA) at my home club. After the match they had a raffle (100% of proceeds to Junior Shooter Program), so I bought 10 tickets for $50. One of my tickets hit pretty early, and low and behold on the table was... a 4lb keg of Lil Gun! A second ticket hit lat...

Leave it on, or Take it Off?
I have a SiCo Omega a few weeks from in my possession. It's primary host will be a 300BLK SBR (8.25", with a 9.75" rail), mounted under the rail. Is it safe/smart for me to basically leave the suppressor direct threaded to the barrel all the time, or should I remove it every time I shoot? I have a f...
