Yeah that absolutely can happen, my rifle rounds I am all single stage still. Some old habits are hard to break LOL.

My pistol rounds are fully progressive.

Re: Subsonic testing part 2 -- Chronograph

Great question something I will add to the review. I walked out 72Yards line of sight before I lost my connection. With a brand new battery in the unit and IPhone charged to 100%

Re: Experience with subsonic shooting effects on cases?

I am doing some testing on this and what I am starting to see with subsonic rounds is this. On the 11th reload primer pockets are starting to loosen up and still yet no trim.

The 300 Blackout is a great round for an avid reloader like myself, the versatility lends itself to e...

Re: Subsonic testing

maybe I am screwing up and should be loading some of the 245's I have that's been sitting on the bench for more than a year. The first 40 rounds I have shot with the 245's were so horrible for accuracy I got frustrated and have not used them any more. I too have had great success with 4227, but main...

Re: Subsonic testing

SwissyJim,

Thank you for sharing the info. I have not tried subsonics below 200gr maybe it is time I do so. Have you done any accuracy testing? What should I expect knowing every rifle and barrel is different?
