Re: The Wait Is On

Be aware that most factory subs are loaded with bullets that will not expand or do much at subsonic velocities. Punching paper, ringing steel...good to go. As a defensive round...not so good. 210gn Amax, 220gn SMK...these are the most common bullets loaded for subs in the 300blk. Neither is a good c...

Re: Sandman K vs Omega 9k

You say you want a dedicated 300blk can....so why not look at the gemtech GMT300BLK.

Mine lives full time on my 9” gun and I love it. Nice and light. Does a good job with subs and supers. Just a great addition to my rifle.

Re: Thoughts on the Gemtech GMT-300

I have one and was more disappointed in the first round pop than anything else. Its an unfortunate fact of life that monocore cans will have more first round pop. If it really bothers you, try running the can wet. 300blk has a very low uncorking pressure. Thats why the GMT 300 blk can is only rated...

Re: Thoughts on the Gemtech GMT-300

I have one as well. It lives fulltime on my 9” AAC SBR. I Shoot 95% supers, 125gn loaded with 296. Cleaning has never been an issue. Dellet is absolutly correct. Use the hole in the end to tighten the core onto the rifle, then hand tighten the tube over the core. I like the can overall. Its light en...

I use POF single stage drop-ins for all my close and fast rifles. Crisp break, fast reset. Nice set up

Re: Failed buffer

Probably easier to buy a new buffer, and a better built one while you are at it.
If youre running a pistol with only supers, you may want to replace it with an H2 weight buffer. If youre going to be buying a nee buffer anyways 8)
