I have no idea of the manufacture of the bullet. I fig at that price its become my 125gn super sonic practice/training bullet

I dont care if the brass is shiny or not. Shiny stuff just messes with my ADD

The brass had dings and dents in the sidewalls. Nothing that will effect chambering but it looks beat up
Kinda like Holyfield after the Tyson fight :cry:

Ok.... Im confused

Why load a ultra light bullet at subsonic velocity? If i can run any bullet weight i want but the vel threshold is around 1000fps. Whats the benefit of a 90gn pill over a 220?

Serious question. Just trying to learn as much as i can

I just came in from firing my first reloads through my 16" AAC upper. I only loaded 10 to check for functioning. The first 5 cycled fine but didn't lock the bolt back when empty. Second 5 cycled fine and did lock back empty. I didn't chrono them or really check accuracy, strictly function. I u...

I dont think the can will change velocity much if any. Maybe 20 fps.

I guess that might matter if your load was right on the edge, but you'll get much less noise if you stay well below the SOS.

I like to run my subs between 975-1000 :mrgreen:

Ding ding. We may have a winner I just got into the 300 a fee weeks ago and winter is in full swing in Colorado. Temps in the single digits or teens My last range session with a chono i had to dig the legs into the snow to get it low enough to shoot over from the bench Maybe I'll just play with load...
