Re: Buying a gun - No CCW?

Just an update - still a bunch of immediate delays ( i.e. we are to busy right now, sorry ) with call backs approving in a day or two. Still sucks, but the NICS folks that call back sound worn out - not that I feel sorry for them, but I am not blaming them, just the system.

Re: Why don't mfg post min exp velocity?

If meant for hunting- a deer
If meant for self defense, well that becomes weird with penetration, barrier blind, FBI tests and all that good sh$t. But for a hunting bullet they could at least pop one through a hog carcass. Never been attacked by concrete or a zombie so don't care.

Re: Hornady 155 gr Match bullet with Crimp Groove

Don't pay any attention to the "crimp groove" or cannulure . Check your cartridge base to ogive , check your chamber and if loading in an AR your constricted to 2.26 anyway. Still a good Idea to do the first two as some bullets will jam into the lands pretty far at 2.26. I know dellet has played wit...

Buying a gun - No CCW?

NICS system is screwed right now, if you expect to get your firearm immediately your wrong. During this time, your rights will be infringed, depending on when the system is overwhelmed. Expect a DELAY status with no call back, meaning you can pick your firearm up - if purchased today - on 04/22/2020...

Re: Lockdown loading

I sell guns and reloading supplies. Our president directed Homeland to deem it essential. Still, after the initial 2 week nukking futts deal where all the 9mm was sucked up and folks bought guns that didn't know which end went boom, now the slow down has hit. The unprepared prepper looking to stock ...

Would have been nice if they put some powder under that nice bullet. Their own data has loads well over 2100 fps, they left about 15% of its potential on the table.

Still nice to have it on the market loaded.

Re: Weight ranges for powders

A1680 has another use. Mid weight level super sonics. It compresses well and burns fairly clean when applied this way. My go to powder for 150 gr. Gold Dots.

Yes sir, Mr.RG, that vertical spread and ES related crap drives us all nuts. I haven't had much luck with H110 and subs.

Re: Ammo box for 300blk

Berry's makes a nice 22'3 box that shells don't sit as deep in. It's number is 405. Holds 50. Has an actual hinge, which is a plus.
