Re: LMT Enhanced BCG Compatibility
He was pulled into something at the last minute, but should be back shortly. I do not have enough ammo to do a bunch of shooting, and will shoot up what I have left the next time I'm out, so he needs to be there when I go. Sounds like you've got a nice build setup, I await your pictures..... :mrgre...

Re: LMT Enhanced BCG Compatibility
Stick, Whatever testing you can do is much appreciated. I'm not looking for an exhaustive test or anything. If it will function with a couple mags of both supersonic and sub sonic, I will be a happy camper. Now if Noveske would be able to have their barrels ready in the next six weeks I would be ecs...

Re: LMT Enhanced BCG Compatibility
Yes, I am talking about a standard cam pin in a DI setup. The gouge that I'm referring to is a diagonal indentation in the front area of the cam pin where the pin contacts the bolt carrier. (Enough so that you could feel a significant groove with your finger nail.) My thinking was that this was caus...

Here are some pics of the LWRC Enhanced Cam Pin http://www.winslowmemorial.com/images/P1010253.JPG Notice how asymmetric the head is... http://www.winslowmemorial.com/images/P1010257.JPG This pin has seen thousands of rounds of use in my LMT Enhanced BCG and shows no signs of wear or gouge. All othe...

Sure...
I'll bring my pin into work tomorrow and mic all the dimensions.

Re: LMT Enhanced BCG Compatibility
The LWRC Enhanced Bolt Cam Pin is rounded at different radiuses where required around the head of the pin. It has directional markings on the head to ensure that it is properly oriented when assembling the BCG. The pin is also coated with LWRC's proprietary nickel plating that adds lubricity as well...

Re: LMT Enhanced BCG Compatibility
Other than your mighty super duper extractor, what else is different with the BCG that you developed for the AAC BLACKOUT uppers? As far as cam pin damage and durability, the best solution I have found is the LWRC Advanced Cam Pin. http://www.lwrci.com/images/Product/medium/89.jpg I run one in my LM...

Re: LMT Enhanced BCG Compatibility
I came across this write up of AR operations and was very impressed to see the explanation of port pressures and dwell time at the end. http://www.ar15barrels.com/prod/operation.shtml http://ar15barrels.com/tech/pressure-time.gif This information reinforces my hypothesis that a 9" or 10.5"...

Re: LMT Enhanced BCG Compatibility
Excited to hear your results.
Have my upper reciever, PRI Tube, ARMS 38 SPR-PEQ-2 Sleeve, and BUIS in hand.
Getting ready to order the BCG and Charging Handle, so your results will steer that purchase.
Thanks again!

Re: Red Dot Sight/Compact Optic for 300 BLACKOUT PDW
The RMR is great option as well, but it is tiny and suffers from the same type issues as the Aimpoint Micro.
