Re: Reloading costs

I have nothing against annealing brass. it has a valid purpose when necessary and it could help with precision loads. I was responding to the O.P. who was asking about getting into loading the 300 BLK and seemed (at least to me) to think that annealing brass was necessary even after other posters me...

Re: Reloading costs

why are you so set on thinking you have to anneal the brass? I have been reloading since the late '70s and I have never annealed the first piece of brass.

Re: Pistol Brace

they should just take SBRs,SBSs and suppressors out of the NFA. none of them are a "threat to society" and are easily by passed by legal loop holes. for that matter, full auto should be de-regulated too! hell, the whole NFA needs to go. dream on.

Re: *&%$#@ Ruger rant

update- I ordered a rail mount made by GG&G. it attached using the Ruger mount slots cut into the receiver. it has 2 pins that go into the holes in the receiver and a weird method of attaching to the rail with 4 wide headed torx screws that clamped onto the rail. it actually worked good and I was ab...

Re: *&%$#@ Ruger rant

I'm gonna have to try something drastic. I was shooting yesterday and no sooner than the rifle got sighted in, the front screw loosened! I really didn't want to put a long eye relief scope or red dot on it but the Utilimak might be my only option. other than JB Weld and I doubt that would hol...

*&%$#@ Ruger rant

I have always been a fan or the Mini 14 carbine. I bought my first one around 1980. I always used the iron sights and never had any problems until my eyes got old and I started needing a scope for hunting. my older 5.56 Mini's have the B-Square scope mounts that attach on the bolt lock cover plate a...

Re: Prefered handgun.

I love my 1911s and often carry the Colt Officer's Model. but my favorite carrying pistol is a CZ 82. (I currently have 4 of them) 13 shots of 9x18 in a compact package that I can carry all day without strain and shoot better than most pistols. they fit my hand perfectly (as do almost all other CZ p...
