Re: 300 Blackout Accuracy
The 300 BLK is alot of things, but it is not an inherently accurate cartridge like a 308 Win. The best accuracy that I have seen from the 300 BLK is from the 125 AAC / SMK loaded with N110 and a 205M Primer. (3/4 MOA @ 100 yards) I would set 1 MOA out to 300 yards as an accuracy goal. I'm sure that...

Hornady .309 90gr. XTP bullet testing...
I just bought 1,000 Hornady .309 90gr. XTP bullets for use in my 300 Blackout & .308 Win. bolt guns. I`ve heard of others using this bullet in the 300 Blackout with some success so I was looking forward to experimenting some with this bullet with a primary emphasis on subsonic applications and t...

Re: Best Subsonic Ammo for Defensive Use
I'd have no problem using subsonic rounds for self defense...in .45 ACP of course. 8) I'd never consider it in 300 Blackout. Limited choice of bullets suitable for the job and the ones that are adequate are too expensive to train/practice with. I don't think we're at the point where cast lead in an ...

Re: 300blk bolt guns
The M7 has been plagued with ejection issues from its very introduction and recent purchasers are still reporting issues. The 700 is quite new but there hasn't been any reported ejection difficulties that the M7 has been experiencing.
Caveat Emptor.

Re: AAC Model 7 - my field report
Jesus, why can't AAC/Remington get their shit together on these ejection issues? The rifle too forever to be announced and they've had ample opportunity to address the situation.

Re: Cleanest Powder for 300AAC Blackout Load
Any powder used with a suppressor will be dirty, thats the nature of the beast. The carbin is pushed back through the action, thats just the way it is. I use A1680 for subs & H110 for supers. But i clean mine when it gets to dirty, thats part of it. I don't believe the OP indicated that he uses...

Re: DD review
I've seen better reviews posted here by the members of this site. Other than the quips from the DD spokesman and the writer's personal ancedotes you could have regurgitated this article from sales literature posted on DD's web site. And yes, the 300 haters are no doubt in a tither. Wait til they exp...

Re: Scope for Rem Mod 7
Hard to beat a good 3x9 to 3x12 scope with target turrets for versatility. Lots of chiice in the market. Make sure to look for one with a lot of elevation adjustment and mil-dots for hold over if you're so inclined. Stick with 1/4 adjustments. 1/8 are a pain in the ass for what you want to do. You'l...
