Correct, it won't function in my ar, but my bolt action it shoots great.

I have been reading this tread and I haven't seen Win244 anywhere. I've been running it with great success in my Ruger American Ranch here is my data.
5.8 gr of Win244
Starline 300blk brass
WSR #41
190GR SMK
1065fps average velocity
14.5 SD
6gr gave me near 1100fps

I have one that came with my suppressor and has never been mounted and another that had a few rounds shot through.
