Re: green laser bore sight
Sorry I read over the .300BLK part because of the muzzle units. I never used one before so can't help there.

Re: green laser bore sight
That's the same reason I suggest to people that if they're going to have a red dot sight and a laser to make one red and the other green. Yup, a 'net search shows all kinds of 'em. https://www.startpage.com/do/search?segment=startpage.avg.secure&query=green+laser+bore+sight&cat=web&cmpgn...

Re: trouble reloading .223
I'm using RCBS lube with the RCBS case lube pad. I've watch a Youtube video that says to anneal the casing to soften it up. I think I'll try that, also a headspace gauge, maybe I've got my die set up wrong. Got casings from a gun and knife show, they said it was one time fired. The reason I asked, ...

Re: trouble reloading .223
Where did you get the brass? Was it fired in a machinegun? There are ways to size all the way down to the rim but the machine required isn't cheap. I have a Case Pro 100 that will do it and it's fine (fast enough) for what I do. I don't even know if they're made anymore. There is a circular rollsize...

Re: 100 grain bullets for the 300 BLK
Not 100 grain, 85 grain. I use them in my 10" for 2300 fps. Maybe I could get more IDK. I got 2300ish fps and good accuracy with WW296 (aka H110 I believe) and called it good. Correction, I just checked my load data notes. I did go a bit higher in velocity but backed it down to what I now load....

Maybe if you put this in the handloading section people will see it more easily so that you get a better response.

Re: Bullet Suggestion
What are you firing them in? They might not feed in a MSR.
Check with the manufacturer at the velocity window it'll expand in. Then compare that to what you can expect to get out of your barrel. A chrono'ed velocity would be nice if you can do that.

Re: subsonic load for home defense
Thanks. Yeah, that would be one of the reasons I can think of. Reduced blast is another if the barrel is 16" or more. If it was me I'd get a PCC for even more reduced noise and blast. Load with fast powder for the PCC. I was told by fellow squad members that my loads sounded like a .22 out of m...

Re: subsonic load for home defense
Just curious as I always am when someone wants a subsonic load for HD. Why subsonic? The reason I ask is that stopping power begins around 2000 fps and velocity gives huge inputs of energy to the target. Exactly what I would think one wants for the most serious of potential uses... HD where innocent...
