Basic Casting Manual
I have decided to try my hand a bullet casting. Is there a good manual with step by step instructions.

Re: Liberty Chaotic Ti or Dead Air Nomad 30, or?
I have the Nomad and it works as promised. If I was doing it again, I would get the new Ti version because the Nomad with the Key-Mo adaptor makes things a little front heavy.

Varmint Bullet through Can?
I liked my 300 BO so much that I decided to build a pistol. At first, I planned to shoot a subsonic round with my Dead Air Nomad can. After thinking about it some more, I am thinking a quick expanding varmint bullet might be the way to go. Obviously, that means supersonic. Has anyone tried this setu...

Re: Best place to buy bullets?
Unless you are making a large enough order, the net prices are not always a good deal. I like Academy Sports for one box loads.

Federal Fusion 180gr Load Experiences?
I ended up with a box of 180 grain Fusions and wanted to try loading them in 300 BO. To my surprise, Federal’s site has zero load data available for 300 BO. Since I have Win 296 and CFE Black available, I looked to their site for help. They have generic load data for 180 grain bullets. Obviously, I’...

Re: Reloading costs
with reloading in general, based on per round costs anyway... with pistol ammo... your savings will be caliber specific for the most part. the more common the caliber (and load!), the less you'll save - 9mm ball ammo is a perfect example. the stuff can be had so cheap right now.. sure you can save ...

Re: Ammo shortage
I started reloading to deal with the issue. Plus, my public range doesn’t allow FMJ rounds and I build soft points for plinking.

Re: Newb First Load: Suggestions
Thank you for the reminder on OAL. I invested in good calipers and headspace gauges.
Since I am just looking to (a) learn reloading and (b) punch paper at under 100 yards, I want to be very conservative in what I do. There is no need to push thunks.

Newb First Load: Suggestions
I have all the equipment I think I need to begin loading 300 BO using a Hornady LnL single stage press with the exception of a case trimmer. That should be arriving shortly. I have ended up with 600 150 grain Hornady Interlock bullets coming as a rebate and have about 50 pieces of same plus factory ...
