Re: SBR Issue - Faxon 10.5”

I was having accuracy (extreme spread) issues with a 10.5", 1:8 ARStoner barrel. Everything I read about the caliber suggested that long, slow, and heavy projectiles in the 200 - 220 gr range are at the edge of the stability envelope at 1:8 twist. I switched to a 1:7 barrel and the issues disappeare...

Re: Does Play between upper and lower and accuracy?

Shooting offhand, benchrest, or bipod? What does the crown of the barrel look like? So many other things affect accuracy much mo...

Re: awful experience with Smith and Sons Meat Processing in Mt.Pleasant, MI

Every game processor I have every dealt with ends up with extra meat at the end of the season from people who never come back and pay for the processing service. They don't actually sell the meat at the end of the season - they offer it to anyone who is willing to pay the processing fee.

Re: Doctors Asking About Firearms In Home

The best reply is "None of your business".

Or, "No, not in my home - my firearm is right here on my belt under my shirt. Where may I safely store it when I disrobe for the exam?"

I don't know about where you live, but in my state it is illegal to hunt with full metal jacketed bullets. I have never read/heard anyone who considered FMJ to be appropriate for hunting, and I have never seen a FMJ bullet marketed as a hunting round.

If you do mean something big enough ID to tuck a suppressor inside of it that is something I would never do nor recommend for anyone else to do either.
Why not? There's many examples of these out there. What's wrong with doing it?

Re: Tiny 300blk pistol

Just measured my LAW folder - it adds 1.5" when folded, due to the hinge & the locking tab that sticks out of the buffer tube half. Don't get me wrong - I really like my LAW folder - but you really have to be careful that dirt/grit and other gunk doesn't get inside it when it's folded. That, and the...
