I just picked up a box of Speer 100gr .308 SPRN bullets. I wanted a plinking load for my CVA blackout rifle. Has anybody tried these?

Thank you for your reply. Yes , I have been doing some reading up on this and it sounds like Barnes Blacktips would be the best . I live in Arizona and some of the shots could be in the 200 yard range!

I should be picking my new CVA Scout V2 in 300 Blackout this week. I plan on using it for coyote hunting. What would be the best bullet, and what would be the effective range for a clean kill?
