Re: sizing
.004 is very doable but you might want to slug your barrel and get a measurement. Most people size .001 to .002 over the slugged bore diameter. I powder coat before sizing. Less chance of contamination the less you handle the cast bullet before coating. " I powder coat before sizing." ^^^...

You are on the MAX on the powder charge on all of the loads. The cases that are FLAT probably weigh more, and have less case capacity. Try filling the Hornady/PPU cases with water, and then pour that same case full into the flat cases...You probably will run water overflow on these bad cases=less ca...

Be SURE that weapon is EMPTY. Close the bolt. Place cleaning rod in the barrel until it stops at the bolt. Mark rod at the end of the barrel. Measure that length on the rod.
