Re: Case mouth ring separation

Since the OP hasn’t posted again, I have a related question. My very limited experience with converted PPU was that the necks were too thick and that was really obvious when I tried to chamber loaded rounds. Given the known information the the OP provided, is that indicative here or is there more to...

Barrel twist for Heavy Sub Loads

I was looking at KAKs 300BLK barrels and notice they now offer a 1:5 short barrel.

For heavier sub loads like the 265DS, is it worth going with a 1:5 or are the 1:7 twist barrels more versatile?

Re: 2019 hunting ammo

This was the only hunting post I could recall where the Federal Power-Shok 120 copper was used:

I think it may also be in a post with photos of the deer.

Re: Shortest 300 blk barrel

Why not place it where SLR, KAK and all the manufacturers do?

Re: My newest 300 Blackout

Have you tried contacting them about that hinge?

SB would be crazy to put out a poorly designed product that is such a potentially popular item.

BTW, really interesting build

Re: New to Group and New to Reloading

https://tpwd.texas.gov/regulations/outdoor-annual/hunting/general-regulations/overview https://tpwd.texas.gov/regulations/outdoor-annual/hunting/new-this-year-hunting There is nothing in hunting regs in Texas about suppressors for shots under 75 yards. Do a Google search on these terms: Texas law, ...

Re: First can! SilencerCo Omega

The Saint comments I saw were about rough chambers that Springfield polished and everything worked. I’m definitely not the expert on that so not sure if getting one brand of ammunition to function means anything.

Re: First can! SilencerCo Omega

Well, There’s other reports on Saint malfunctions. They sound suspiciously like yours.

I can’t remember the rules here about linking to other forums. If you do a search, I found several issues posted on a variety of forums. All chambering issues like what you described.

Haven’t found much on them. But did find another thread where it sounded like someone was having a similar issue.

You mean it “deposited Brown crud throughout your upper and your lower” receivers?

Re: ARMSCOR PRECISION ammo is TERRIBLE!

A five star rating and sells for .40 a round. https://www.outdoorlimited.com/featured-brands/armscor-ammunition/armscor-300-aac-blackout-ammunition-fac300aac1n-147-grain-full-metal-jacket-20-rounds/ Perhaps they’re doing product improvement and the ammo is much better than it was five years ago when...
