I'm sure this topic has been beat to death, but I'm working on putting together a 10.5" pistol in 300BLK. I was wondering if an adjustable gas block would be recommended. It will be a 10.5" barrel, with pistol length gas. I'm in a no-fun state, so it will not be equipped with a suppressor...

I wouldnt go subsonic unless it's a Lehigh projectile or one specifically designed to expand at subsonic speeds. Otherwise it will over penetrate like crazy. Good to hear that worked out. One other use of the gauge that I did not mention. If you think it's the base hanging up, drop it in backwards.
