Re: Having function troubles with subsonic ammo
Usually you adjust gas with a gas block and not a H2 buffer at the same time. Try a standard buffer. It seems like you don't have enough gas to move that mass.

Re: Blowback In Your Face
You can:
Don't shoot supers
or
Use a adjustable gas block to turn the gas down
or
Use a gas buster or similar charging handle
Or any combination of the above with differing results.

I've tried it but did not get near the visual marks that ampanealing shows. Jury is still out on my results.

Re: Gouged shoulder
Are you sure that the gouges are from firing or from reloading. Dirty dies or nicked dies can gouge brass.
If it's from firing check the barrel extension and see if the edges near the ramp are sharp.

Re: Question for Glock guys
Depends on you role. In my prime at 6' 2" I tipped the scales at 220 pounds with a 30 inch waist and could easily turn in under 6 minute miles. Hard to say I needed to loose weight. But every day between a vest, boots, gear belt and radio I strapped on at least 60 pounds of gear. At the end of ...

Re: BCA upper + MI hand guard?
They appear to be like the ones on my BAR, they are supposed to overlap, they sit just outside to prevent rotation of the hand guard.

Re: BCA upper + MI hand guard?
I have a two Seekins BAR's with similar tabs that have similar alignment tabs They fit fine on my regular BCM upper. They fit on either side of the upper rail and I have a hard time imagining they would interfere with the side charging. From what I see on a picture of a BCA side charging upper they ...

Re: 300 Black Out Large Lead Bullet Reliability
Yes, a 7.5 inch pistol gas barrel. Supressed and not at times. Noe is a custom bullet mold maker, a very good one at that. Carbon can be a function of the power used. Try different ones. Ideally a powder that burns completely leaves less residue. Finding that is trial and error.

Re: 300 Black Out Large Lead Bullet Reliability
You are missing a big one. The rest may not influence it but the Mag will if you are using 223/5.56 mags. The 223 mag has ribs that are supposed to keep the round stacking properly. With the normal 300 loads this is not problem, but with the heavies it tends to pinch in the front of the stack causin...
