Re: Custom silencer covers

Rifles Only recommended a 6" cover - the silencer is 7" long, but the large baffle section is 6". They, of course, recommend the HAD cover. A bit more expensive, but I'll be switching the silencer from gun to gun at the range, so a bit better hand protection. I've still got plenty of ...

Re: Custom silencer covers

Armageddon makes some of the best on the market according to the precision world (Snipers Hide guys). They make them for specific cans and have an option for the Sig. They also do custom sizing if needed. I haven't ordered mine yet, but I'll be getting one for my Saker. http://www.armageddongear.co...

Custom silencer covers

Does anyone have any suggestions for a reputable shop that does "custom" suppressor covers? The Sig SRD762-QD I'm getting has a unique torpedo shape to it, so I'm a bit concerned about how a regular cover would fit. I'll be using it to shift between guns at the range, so it'll have a good ...

Re: Ups to Shockwave Tech

Little bugger shoots good! Ran about three hundred rounds through it this morning without so much as a hiccup. The Blade gives a great cheek-weld, and having the sling as a solid brace to push against helped immensely. I've been nothing but impressed with the CBC Ind. uppers - great shooters for rel...

Re: Ups to Shockwave Tech

Well, the Blade brace and tube got here today (A whopping two days after I ordered it. I call that prompt, good customer service). Once I was reminded that there were springs involved (Which, of course, induced a fit of drunken crawling looking for said detent spring), the whole thing went together ...

Re: Ups to Shockwave Tech

you should be able to reuse your buffer and spring in their tube. if you can call them back and have those bits left off the kit, it may save you a few more $$ along the way. hth. It was simpler, for me, to just do the full kit. They do sell the KAK buffer tube separately for $20, but it doesn't in...

Re: My first steps into the 300

Nice build for the money and welcome. I cant help but to ask, at a gun range they wont allow 30rnd magazines loaded to capacity? The range I use in Kenmore, WA only allows single-load unless you're shooting rimfire. Then you can load 5 rounds. Unlike the shorter-distance indoor range I go to shoot ...

Ups to Shockwave Tech

Well, I'm putting a 300 Blk pistol together, and wanted to pick up a brace. I'm using a Palmetto State "built" lower that uses their funky fluted buffer tube (No castle nut). Obviously, if I'm going PSA, I'm not planning on spending a bundle of cash. I'm using another CBC Industries upper,...

Re: Brass smacking the deflector. Hard.

Well, it does make sure people know it's not a display piece. Doesn't bother me - I was just concerned there might be an issue. I'll check the brass closer next time I go out. I picked up a 10.5" upper (waiting like a good boy for my pistol lower), so it'll be interesting to see how much of a d...
