I would use Hornady 90gr XTP bullet if available, I load them with trail boss to about 1000 fps and they shoot very well out of my ruger bolt action.

Ed's is wanting $350.00 for a factory 15" 300 blk barrel,Makes that $400.00 MGM barrel look like a deal.

I just pick up a magnospeed chono last week and in testing my 1680 loads had twice the sd as my H 110 loads, I'm seating my bullets at 2.10 oal and using a heavy crimp with a lee factory crimp die. Bullets used where sierra 240 gr and leather head 245 gr and missouri bullets 245 gr, all fired from ...

Glad to help a fellow lefty.
I used a pipe wrench to remove the factory barrel nut and tossed it bought a replacement slotted nut from pacific tool and gauge and used a 1 1/2" spanner wrench from snapon to tighten it.
Set head space off of one of my reloaded rounds.

His posts are what led me to the 180's it's hard for my to do a lot of testing at $1.00 a shot.
I'm happy with a 1 1/2" group at 100 yards just need to try them on live game.

So who is getting good groups at 100 yards with heavy subs ?
I bought some 180 gr after reading this thread about 200 gr + bullets not grouping at 100 yards.
I'm getting 1 1/2" groups at 100 yards with the 180 gr.
