I just shot 208gr pills straight at 50yards last night, shot at subsonic speeds.
I would think you could go even heavier and further than that, that is just what I was shooting last night.

Re: Hiperfire triggers
I have owned a Hiperfire 243G for a little over a year now and I have absolutely loved it. I've got it on an 8" suppressed 300BLK right now. I've never had any issue with it and agree that installation and changing of the springs is an easy task. Well worth the money.

Re: Current HPA status
I recently read this article about the ATF. I did a little search and it appears there are a lot of things like this about the ATF. Seems like it truly is time to get rid of this division.

Re: Black Powder Cannon
Thanks everyone for the replies. I tried firing the cannon again last night using FFG. I loaded it more to what my father was doing and got the boom I was looking for. On the barrel, it shows that it was a 40mm barrel and that comes out to about 1.5 inches. Thanks for the advice on using a wet wad t...

Black Powder Cannon
Some History: Last year my father passed away and one of the things he left to me was a black powder cannon that he made in the 70's. He had found out that an anti-aircraft artillery barrel had been cut up at the local scrap yard and headed over to get a piece of it. They sold it to him for the pric...
