Re: Suppressor mounting advice for my application?
If this will be the only host for the can, go direct thread. The only time I use QD is when I need to quickly change out.

Re: Load development while waiting on suppressor
My 300 Blackout subs usually gain around 20 fps with a suppressor.

Re: Loading cast Lee 160 grain
I shoot both the LEE 312-160 and 312-155, both powder coated.
I load the 160 to 2.035" with 18.5 grains of A1680 for 1825 fps from a 16" barrel. Accuracy is 1/2" groups at 50 yards. The same load without the gas check measured 1" at 50 yards.

Re: Sighting a scope in for subs and supers?
I run a 16” barrel upper for supers with a 3x10 scope.
I have a 10.5” barrel upper for subs wearing a Nikon 3x scope.

Howa Mini-action
I picked up a Howa Mini action in 300 Blackout last fall and dropped it in a Boyd's stock purchased during their Christmas sale. Added a Bushnell 2x7 scope in the supplied Howa rings. I'm very impressed with the Howa's trigger and so far everything I've shot has produced outstanding accuracy. https:...

Re: Anyone shooting subs in Bolt action?
I shoot 212 grain Hornady ELD, 240 grain Sierra BTHP, and 225 grain powder coated cast from a NOE mold through my 300 Blackout Howa.
Here is the 240 grain Sierra at 50 yards. The other loads group as well with the same POI.

Re: 300 BO subsonic through a .45 can?
I run 300 Blackout through a Hybrid 46 on both a bolt action and a gas system. On the AR, it's not as quiet as my 762 Saker. On the bolt action, it's Hollywood quiet.

Re: 300 bo subsonic and hunting help
I use the 190 grain Maker Rex at 1050 fps. Using a Nikon 3X scope with ballistic plex reticle, I know my hold out to 200 yards.
This buck was taken at 126 yards. He simply turned at the shot and walked 20 yards and expired.

Re: 2019 KY Deer Season
All good kills, but the subsonic 126 yard shot on the buck really impressed. You've done your homework sir, and spent a lot of time on that rifle. Congrats. I have put over 2500 rounds through this gun in the 4-1/2 years that I've owned it. I practice regularly out to 150 yards. This is the third d...
