Re: Powder coat vs lube

Re: Lee 309-230 Mold final verdict?

I took my bad mold of this model, and chopped it down with an end mill in a drill press. It is now plain base 175 grains with wheel weight or 168 with LinoType. I did some preliminary test shooting last weekend out of 308 Nato, and 30-06. Both 1-10 barrels. Satisfactory enough starting results. I on...

Re: Linear Compensator

I have one of common cheap style. I frequently see them on ebay. I think it does help with flash very well, but that's just subjective from shooting as it gets dusky. I haven't tried to do any comparison testing.

Re: IMR 4227 for supers and subs???

I would appreciate input from people about whether it is a better idea to be using small rifle magnums for these loads too I've noticed that a lot of you do that.

Re: IMR 4227 for supers and subs???

I appreciate your input. I have done some of those tests but not quite that thoroughly. I suppose I was being subjective about it Just noticing that the dimple occurs on both but is significantly smaller on the WSR. My thinking was partially that just because it is safe in my rifle does not mean it ...
