I only had about 4 mins of legal shooting light left,hence the fireball out of the 16" barrel.

Large whitetail doe at 60 yds. CVA scout using 125gr SST. End of day in failing light,when I recovered from the fireball she was DRT and never moved again. Impressive! Found remains of bullet in off shoulder in hide when skinning. Perfect mushroom to the base weighing 57gr. If I could figure out how...

I love hunting those critters but I'm pretty much done here. The beans are up too high now and not many hay fields anymore. I think I'm up to 25 this year,mainly with the AR's.

The Seekins I've used works well.

looks like it's pulldown stuff. you might have to fls before you load it.

I have an STAC 4-20. Nice and clear but the duplex reticle is a little too thick for my liking.

Highly doubt you'd need the small base die. I'm cheap,I use a collet die to size the neck just enough to go over the arbor on the neck turner. Then process the case as normal.

Lee classic cast. Started out 30 years ago with a used Herters and the adapter to RCBS style shell holders. Used that boat anchor for many years until I upgraded to the Lee.

How far down inside the mag do you take the rib out?

It's my new bullet for the the CVA scout. Doesn't shoot quite as well in my AR but we can't hunt deer with a semi here so no big deal.
