Good subsonic boolit mold
Looking to get into casting but can’t seem to figure out best subsonic mold. Shooting Nosler 190’s subsonic now so would like to get something close. I’ve looked at NOE and accurate but so many choices and not much info. Searching old posts I haven’t seen much current recommendations to help. Thanks...

Re: SUPER deal on my favorite charging handle
Thought I would try out but looks like I missed the promo code sale. Are they going on again anytime soon?

Re: badly damaged ears, I need help for quietest setup
I also have fairly significant hearing loss (but from shooting slightly larger -155mm howitzers in USMC). So, I shoot 300blk suppressed to save what I have left. I have both 16” and 8” SBR with ACC SDN can. I can’t tell much difference in them noise wise. But, as indicated you will generally have to...

Re: Help with AA#9 failure function
Gotcha. Too many variables. I just was surprised as normally the 16” is easier to cycle than 9”. Both are pistol length. I do have JP piston buffer in 9” so may try changing that to see.

Help with AA#9 failure function
Well I experienced a weird problem. I have loaded AA#9 with Nosler 190 for subsonic load and have perfect function and very quite load in my 9” AR. But, when I tried the same load in my 16” AR, I could not get it to function even with adjustable gas block all the way open. It was as if it wasn’t get...

Re: New silencer owner tips
As mentioned, make sure your can is screwed on tight. And check to ensure it stays tight ever so often. My SDN had a near baffle strike due to it working loose/not being perfectly tight. I have loaded hundreds of subs with 1680 but have now moved to AA#9 and in my opinion it is a little quieter and ...

Re: Bundy Brothers Acquitted in Takeover of Oregon Wildlife Refuge
Glad the justice system worked out for them. I think that is the point of the system and why the side of a remote roadway isn't the place to try the case. As far as "murder" by officers, I wasn't there but I read "After fleeing the officers, Finicum was stopped by a roadblock, where h...

Re: Subsonic load with AA#9?
So far I have worked down to 8.1 grn on Nosler 190 and have full function, but have about 50% go supersonic on me. They are chrono at around 1200 fps when they do. I think 8.0 hopefully will do the trick and it will be in my next load

Re: Subsonic load with AA#9?
Good info, thanks. I will give these a try. The 300blk in particular that I am reloading for is an 8.5.
